It's been in the back of my mind since I built the boxes for the doors. Anyone ever thought of putting a quality soundbar above the seat or even up where the cab light is and relocate the light on it?

I know I can come up with some crazy ideas, but this one seems to fit pretty well, provided it's got enough quality/volume to match your subs if you have any.

Never thought of it since there isn't a whole lot of room before it's blocking the rear window. Would probably work pretty well with a blazer or burban if you could find one that would have marine sealed speakers and a weather proof casing.

DIY soundbar or did you get one built for home and "modify" it to run on 12V? Make/model if it's not DIY.

Thanks

I think I have decided to do speaker pods on the far corners of my dash. Make it as deep into the corner of the A-pillar, windshield, and dash. Then cover with fleece to make it part of the actual dashpad.

Plan is to have 3.5” two ways on dash, 6.5” flush mount kick panels with 6.5” components in cab corners where 4x10 once were and a 8” slim powered sub in center behind seat.

I picked up a 4-channel amp that will power the front 4 on one channel and 6.5” corners on the other. Plan is to mount EQ in top of glove box as well.

Trying to keep field of vision and balances sound.
