Sliding Rear Window

I bought this sliding rear window for my 73. I've never seen one with the locking tabs on the sides of the sliding part. Does anyone else have one like this?

I had a window like that in a 1980 Ford F100, several years ago.

Wow, don't remember seeing one like that before, I've had a few and have two of them now and they all have the center lock.

Same window I have in my 86. I personally like the windows with the center lock better. This one seems to be a pain to "unlock".

I had one and liked it - the lock could be released and the window slid open in one motion.

Not that it's a huge deal but, with the center lock style, you have to snap the lock open and then reach over and grab the handle in order to slide it open.

Plus the releases on the side lock style never seem to break - like the snap does on the center lock kind.
