Shifter retainer sm465

[Hoodless]

Bought a k20, trailered it home, now I see there is nothing holding the shifter in the top cover, it's just sitting there. It has an aluminum top sm 465, where can I get the retainer kit?

Bearing kit .com , you will need the two side pins as well , last time I did this I cut of drill bits and used them for the pins.

Ok, that's kit I got, says it's for the cast iron top only, but we will see I guess

Sorry I missed the aluminum top part . I have never worked with one of those late model 465's so not sure.

But here is a place that may know , midwesttrans.com

I swapped from the cast iron top cover to the aluminum top cover, and my original shifter retainer parts worked. I think you'll be fine.
