Need some help. My project had a rotted rear bumper that I have replaced but I didn't notice till replacing it that the rear wiring harness was just zip tied up to the frame of the truck with nothing connected. The Haynes manual says the license plate lights should be brown/black wires but I've pulled the harness apart and no joy on that combo. Any thoughts?

Get your meter, turn on your parking lights and check for 12v from any of those wires to ground. When you find 12v, JACKPOT for your license plate lights.

What about your tail lights?

Went to do this last night and the trucks dead. Two weeks without starting and reading almost no juice out of the battery.

Once I get a new battery and install a disconnect I will get back to the rear lights.
