Radiator Hose

So i got a 76 chevy k10 w a 4 speed sm465 manual. I got a lower and upper radiator hose but theres one on the passenger upper side that is plugged with a bot and 3 hose clamps, is that for what would be automatic transmission coolant lines? or am i missing something here.???

That is where one of the heater core hoses are supposed to go on mine, the other goes to the top of the intake by the thermostat. I've had some that hook to the water pump too.

Yep. The trans cooler lines have flare fittings that thread into the radiator under the heater hose. I'm guessing someone bypassed the heater core because it got plugged up or leaks..?

It doesnt leak so im not going to bother with it haha

If it is the transmission cooler tank within the radiator tank that you're talking about then yes it's the Auto Trans Cooler tank. Since you're not using an Auto Trans, if you wanted to to do the plumbing, you could use it for engine oil cooler.
