What is the proper brake master cylinder on a 1987 chevy v20 with the c6p package ? Mine has the older all cast iron type , I thought they are supposed to be aluminum with a plastic reservoir .

The variant of MC used is dependent on the braking system's JB/JD rating number. Check your RPO codes to determine which rating your brakes have, and post it here. With that RPO, I should be able to provide the JB/JD rating and the correct P/N for the MC.
