I think I'd need some king coil/bypass shocks for a 3ft jump at speed...

But at least this side is done...Even though I jave made room for the 33s, I wonder if slogging up a slip and.being semi sacked out if they would rub at an angle... Or eith heavy mud there between tire if it would be clogging...
I am debating.on ultimate size of 33/9.5/15 vs 32 MTs ...

I also think of trimming the rear to match the body line/ equal to under tail light body line...

I want her rock solid before I go off road.

Do you have ramps? If so drive up on 1 and see how it acts. A little flex test so to speak.

No ramps but thats a good idea...

Im scared if I jump her the front end may explode like Forrest Gumps leg braces when he started running... But maybe I can find like a warehouse area behind strip mall with lowered section for loading trucks and drive up an angled ledge....feelin the sliders...

Well... I just had an unsettling experience.... So my girl walked to the end of the street to the corner store, and I figured I got a few minutes before work, ill go pick her up in the truck.... So I go there wait, pick her up and literralg make the one.turn left to my house and straight shot home....
THE STEERING wheel spins but I slowly realize I am not turning.... I try to get out as I am in the middle of the street, I see sterring rag! Joint where it connects to ps rack spinning freely... While I hope it isnt somehow stripped, I try and kick the tire straight ( and thought I broke a tendon by my right knee- which dissapointed me- as I used to have leg toughness from muay thai but I guess not no more). I was trying like a wu shu inner sweeping kick as I had dress shoes on, but had to run home in khakis and dress shirt, sweating like a pig knowing every second, pd could show up to tow or ticket.... So I grab the jack, sledge, and some 10,14,12 mm and 3/4 ratchet throw that in the prius. I run back jack her up, sledge the wheels right to get by the curb and drive forwards. Jack up again reverse wheels left with sledge then drive back in reverse. Then I sledge wheels right again drive forward and park her... I spend about twenty minutes and get the shaft from the steering wheel. Loosely reattach by rack, then loosely reattach back mear wheel....
Was able to limp her home...

My girl now says "that just scared me from driving that car completely"

I kist think had that happened at freeway speeds I could be.no.longer.

So definatly I will thread lock these 3xbolts now, and make sure they are as toraued as can be, and will nowbe on my smug up every other trip list foor a while until I am sure it is a non issue....

I dont know if they loosened up or what...

So I had to call in which sucks as I started 30 minutes ago...

Two steps forward, three steps back...
Ill get it eventually...

How much flex does your suspension have? It looks (at least from the pics) as though any up travel in the tire will bring it right back into contact with the body. If that does happen, you may have to go back down a size on your tires.

For right now it has been.pretty stuff but I havent driven much with everything together. I think 32" is winner... I would live to try a 33/9.5/15...
This is how I limped it home glbefore I started working on her today...
