I sold the 4x bfgs for $180, so I paid $150 +$20 to mount the spare, and I guess $10 for gas $... But now I have this.33 to mock up with (which is likely as big as I can go without serious fab)

Engine swap would be sick... Easiest to stay in the same platform... I guess they made 1.6 vitara, 2.0 vitara, 2.5 grand vitara, and 2.7 xl7...
Specs:
1.6 I4 g16b 90hp @ 5600 ( one year only 2dr 5spd had 5.13s)
2.0 I4 j20a 127 @ 6000rpm/134tq @3000
2.5 v6 H25a 155hp @6500/160tq @ 4000
2.7 v6 173hp @6000
So went out again....
Tried the other rear passenger.... Worked out in the end... Still need to seam seal... Hard to be symmetrical when the hammering ir in folded rhe bottom metal more at an angle than straight but I can live with it...

Not much left to cut/ work with, but I will try to find out ehat the hammer wl do. I have a 10lb mallet somewhere, but have to find it...
Not too bad at ride height, but when stuffed, thats what will hopefully be pushed back.... Still gotta fix the roof rack...
