About time you saw it, probably missed the other one too huh, lol:happy175: Well, you can name it Big Red Turd because that's what it is, lol.. Nothing wrong with the tranny or the flexplate, someone put a new flexplate on and never tighten the bolts, that all works good now, only thing wouldn't hurt to drill the 1-2 and 2-3 feed holes in the plate for a little firmer shift..

Well, I put gas in it and that took care of the crapping out, I put the new sensor in and went for a ride, a 1/2 mile and the light flashes so I come back and flash the code and the same 44 code comes up, now after about 10 minutes I started it up and I saw a cloud of smoke don't remember seeing that before and it wasn't a dark blue, WTF, so I decided to check the tranny fluid and there was barely anything showing on the stick, all that fluid went away on that 150mi trip to get it smogged, so up on the lift it goes and I pop the hose off the modumalator and sure as shit fluid runs out bada bing, so I grabbed a new one and put it in, cleared the ECM and took it for a ride, 1/2 mi and the same thing, question is would burning that tranny fluid kill the sensor???, I'm just about done with this turd, I'll try one more sensor if fluid could have killed it but that's it, if it don't work I'm done with it it's a roller, spent way too much time on it as it is, could have had a bunch done on my truck..:mad:

As soon as I started reading smoke and trans fluid gone I knew where you were headed. Those sensors are whiny little bitches the don't like foreign shit on them. Hell the ones on newer cars you just look at them wrong they fail.

You can try carb cleaner on it and reinstall it clear the code and drive it for like 15-20 miles to burn it off.

Well, I cleaned it all up and took it for a ride and same thing, so I bought a new one and put about 15mi on it and the light didn't come on so maybe it's fixed who knows, got an appointment with the smog dick in the morning, it's 65mi away so if it's fixed it should be all cleaned up by the time I get there, I hope anyways, but if not then phuck it I'm done with it...

No kidding, lol. I spent weeks getting the tbi sorted on my '88 k1500 when I brought it home 3 years ago. It's been a damn good reliable truck ever since. And I'm not a huge fan of TBI myself either.
