Hasn't been driven since 97 .paid $800 bucks .I'll be adding pics soon.just found a 454 for it and need some advice from you guys . Are eBay engine rebuild kits any good or go to summit for the extra buck? Summit is just 30 mins from my house.

Welcome to GMSB. By all means, start you a build thread in the Under Construction section and post up some pics to track your progress.

If I had a Summit or Jegs within 30 minutes of my house, I wouldn't be allowed in the place. I'd be that creepy guy walking around with an ******** looking at all those new shiney go fast parts and I'd get thrown out.

Welcome. I'd go with Summit EBay can be a pita if you get the wrong stuff or if it's damaged. Summit is awesome to deal with and at 30 mins away even more awesome. Definitely wanna see pics.

Welcome to the board! I'm in the process of rebuilding my 350 and I opted for the Sealed Power Gasket sets since it uses just about all the blue felpro gaskets. Definitely felt it was worth it to spend the extra bucks for a high quality gasket kit so you don't have to worry about any leaks anytime soon.

:laughing1: I'd definitely be on a first name basis with everyone in the building.... Probably including the mailman and the janitors! It'd definitely make parts arrival a ton quicker, but my pocket would be all the more empty.
