New Kobalt Tool Warranty System at Lowes

Just giving everyone a heads up on this. Lowes changed there warranty policy on kobalt tools. If you buy a kobalt tool from lowes you must go online and register it with lowes if you want them to honor the warranty on it. So basically if you buy a kobalt tool from lowes and it breaks. They will only honor the warranty if it registered with them online in your name. This is lowes new warranty policy on tools. Dont know if this applies to all there tools or not.
