Hi!

New here and my first truck.
84 short fleet.
I need to remove those wheels and the shotty suspension work to fit them. Looking at 18s or 20s replica ralleys or torque thrust II's. Plus a long list of work that needs to be done, but I picked it up for cheap.

2008 Mazdaspeed3 ~ 400 hp self tuned
2001 Trans Am WS6 ~ 500 hp self tuned

I spent 15 years in the shop, now I'm back in school and an IT guy.

Welcome to GMSB. I'm glad you agreed to get rid of those wheels. I hate hurting the new guy's feelings. I prefer to at least them get acquainted, warm and cozy before I tell them something looks like ****. Although around here, we'll give our opinion but we also realize it's your truck, so make it your own. We don't have to drive it, so do as you wish.

Other than the wheels, you're off to a great start already.

Oh yeah... I need to un-ghetto-fy this truck, but like I said, I got it cheap for the market around here. Square bodies bring in a premium.

So my goals are and in no particular order: 6.0L, 4L80, the wheels mentioned, lowered a little (from stock height), and clean up/fix the interior, change the headlights, led tail lights, maybe a front gill, and still debating between a roll pan or smooth rear bumper... we will go from there.

I would have charged them for taking those wheels Some places will give you a little money back for trading in if you have a place that you are buying from locally. Nice looking truck and I think either of your proposed choices will look really good
