What’s going on guys my name is Anthony
So bored 83K 10 with a freshly rebuilt 350 and newly rebuilt TH 350 transmission
When I got home I got everything running ,topped off all the fluids and made sure everything was right, no leaks and took it on its maiden voyage.
it would barely move !!so I called the guy bought it from and he says it has a 3500 RPM stall in it but it’s got a stock cam
So I rechecked the transmission fluid and it was good and once again tried to take it down the road and Still the same thing
I tried 4-low and it would move just fine.
does anybody have any suggestions?? when it’s in drive I would have to give it so much gas to get it to move I felt like I was going to blow the motor

Welcome Anthony,
You obviously need a stock converter.
And de-funk anything else the previous owner did. Tossing in a 3500 ripem converter in a stock truck is just retarded, so beware what other surprises lurk.
Other than that, awesome truck bro..

I would also check the front pump in tranny when replacing torque converter ...
