New bench seat did I get ripped or do well?

My old seat was not so great. Time took it’s toll and I was pretty much sitting on the metal frame. Found a local upholstery guy near where I work. He originally said he would match what I had but make it all black like I wanted. I had the cloth top and vinyl sides. The day he started he said he had to order cloth so he suggested all vinyl. I was not super happy but it is a lot easier to clean and with two boys 6yo and 5yo I went for it. Here are a couple of pictures. He charged $500 for the whole thing and added those safety latches for my kids booster seats. What do you think?

I paid 475 where I live to have one reupholstered and foam repaired so.... your seat looks good tho.

I live on Long Island, everything here is insanely priced... I really wanted cloth but thinking more about it I take the truck on the beach and the sand is a PIA to clean. It should be super easy with the vinyl. He did a total rebuild of the foam and upholstery. He also added the newer style safety latches for my kids car seats.

Thanks me too... It is sewn in with red vinyl in the center. I was happy it came out like that. Was worried it was going to look ghetto...

I would say you did good. I could have probably found a cheaper place but if you want one of the best upholstery in my area that who you go to.
