Need help with engine ID

I just picked up a 78 k10 that came originally with a 400, but on the pad on the front behind the alternator it reads K0402UFP CG1123211 I can't find any info on a suffix K0.
Can anyone help me out here?

Edit: after more googling I believe the suffix is the UFP part. but can't find that either.

found it, 86 305, kind of bummed now I was hoping it would be something sweeter.

Agreed. Maybe when you get ready, you can find a 400 to put in it so it'll be factory correct.

Don't get too depressed until you do some additional research.

I found only one reference listing UPF, and it says UFA, UFB and UFP are all 305's. But I also found multiple other references that say UFA and UFB are 350's. So which one should we believe?

I would recheck the UFP and make sure that's what it says. Its a very uncommon suffix code, which means you may have misread it.
