Welded up the few holes on the fender. Put a skim coat on the marker light. Think I had to much hardener, or old body filler. I have no clue what I'm doing....lol[IMG][IMG]

Ok after watching some YouTube vidoes, and doing some reading. Going and getting some new body filler. This is what I ended up with. [IMG]

Ok after pulling back and looking at thing, had to do some repairs. Not perfect but looks a lot better. I will weld on some studs and see if I can get it closer. Than found the ding on the edge. I now see why paint, and body gets so much money. I have about 20 hours in this one fender. Grant it I'm learning as I go, and learning a lot.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Nice work, sir! Glad to see you still plugging away at this thing!
I'd like to get down and dirty with the bodywork on my crew one of these days, I just have no where large enough to disassemble it to work in it out of the weather. :(

Thanks...A buddy of mine bought a portable building and put it up in his back yard. It came to him in a box. No permits required because it's portable. Big enough for is truck with about 4' on each side. I'm thinking about getting one just for storage, they have all different sizes.

I got after it a bit more today. I put a skim coat of body filler. Sand it down with 60 grit. Got it down to where I thought it should be. Than 100 grit on a long board. It's not prefect, but it will do for now. Going to put the fender back together and back on the truck to see how it looks all done. Than start the other side. I have about 26 hours in this one fender. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
