My daughter just had to have a 1985 k10. It has issues but we are working through them. Some one in the past replaced the manual tranny with a 350. Anyone know where u can find a manual tranny , bell housing and shift handle?

I'm assuming you're talking about an SM465, but I just wanted to make sure because the A833 was also available that year. The SM465 is a three speed with a "granny low," and the New Process A833 is a four speed overdrive.

If she just had to have an 85 K10 then she's probably a good daughter and you should keep her.

So is the clutch pedal and clutch master still in place? Was it a bad conversion to Th350 or what? Is manual transmission the preference?

Manual is her preference. Yes, clutch pedal is still there. Clutch master is there also. Yes on the SM465

And yes, I will keep her. I don't know about the truck though. Tried lashing the valves. Whoever rebuilt it left in the press in rocket studs and now I have replace with screw in, no big dealer, but we live an hour from anywhere....ugh
