Correct, just feel there is a quieter muffler out there than the early big block one's. Was looking at 98 3500 big block muffler and maybe rv muffler
When I got my '79 crew cab years ago, I bought new GM clearance lights and installed them. I kinda sorta remember the roof being stamped like that. Or maybe that was the roof on my old '90 Burb...
This ting is an 89 maybe Chevy learned something along the way lol. I’m half tempted to cut that section out lol
Has anyone heard the roadkill muscle truck exhaust?
Headman turbo mufflers, anyone heard anything about em?
They are loud as hell and drone they alway bitch about how loud it is yet don’t change them lol
The muscle truck is a 4" Dynomax race bullet.
So the Cherry Bomb Glasspacks drone badly?
Id love that, though hearing protection would be mandatory.
Do all Turbo Mufflers drone?
Placement has a lot to do with it.
Placement, crossovers or lack of are factors. A "true dual" system with the mufflers far from the headers will be worst.
So a cross over is a good idea?
It's always a good idea, for drone and power, but it adds cost and clutter under the truck, so 6 of one and 1/2 dozen of the other.
Why not route both pipes down one side, use one of these
then out to two mufflers and exit truck factory location?
You can do that, or a dual in dual out muffler are what I would do.
I call bullshit on the whole mess and they prove it for gain and loss it’s all about the same only real difference is sound no one method is any better then the other as far as hp and torque.
