Has anyone changed the factory front side blinker lights out for LEDs? I know I need to install an electronic flasher to get them to blink however not sure how to wire everything.

I just swapped the incandescent bulbs with leds. They work fine. The blade type leds are way cheaper than the lmc retrofit. I didnt need the regulator..my turn markers dont blink any differently. I bought a pack of 20 led bulbs off of ebay for $15

ditto but amazon and amber, but 10 for that price if I remember correctly. My lenses are clear in the center so I went with the amber so it wouldn't give them a reason to pull me over.

Yes but there is also a lone red wire hanging out of the light as well.

I don't remember a lone red wire. I will look at mine if I get a chance when I get home.

I found the solution. The red wire I crimped to the third wire off of the front markers, the one by itself not going to the back of the bulb (far left wire in the picture), and they are blinking normally.

I also do not need the flasher unit since I only replaced two markers. Here is what they look like installed.

Very cool. Thank you for sharing! Did you do the rear as well or just the side markers?
