Simple question about interior mounted spare tire holders that had a carpet cover.

Were they all the same 73-91?

One leg screwed to the passenger wheel well, one screwed to the floor, and one screwed to the bed side.

Adjusted up and down.

Are they all the same? Which is most "correct" for my '75?

I think in '73 and '74 they mounted to the floor, right behind the seat. And then there was the dealer-installed outside swing away carrier.

Appreciate it! IF, you are already there. This is the first I've even looked for prices on them. I haven't checked locally, but I kinda doubt I'll find anything. It wasn't real high on my priority list, but if they aren't common to find, it may be smart to get one while it's available....

Sorry Doug, I meant the Blazer tire holder, not the front bumper one.

I have seen a few trucks with the front bumper one in the area, but not in the pick a part yet. I'll watch for one of those also.

Its snowing pretty hard here today, so it may be a day or so before I get over there. I was thinking of grabbing the seats and console out of the Blazer, but hadn't decided. The seats are pretty weathered and the lid of the console is cracked. Guess I better make up my mind.

I've been talking to the seller of the eBay listing and got him to agree to take a $70 offer, down from $99. Plus the $30 ship + the $28 for the other pieces...he refused my initial $45 offer..
Very anxious to see what the SDJunkman comes up with...
I've been looking for a good while now and even lost an auction two weeks ago when I got outbid over $110 (complete). It's too much money.

So this is Exciting!
Really? You found one simply chillin in a yard?
Wild!
I'm stoked! :headbang:

(+$30.22 ship)

I had just about succumbed to the seeming fact that one of these deals was gonna cost me better than $100..
That's a TON of money that I REALLY don't want to spend (on that) but everytime I go over too big a bump my 32x11.50R15 spare and steel wheel gets airborne and that ain't cool - anymore. :)
I NEED a $100 spare tire holder in my business. There sure as hell ain't any layin around some Pull-A-Part in OKLAHOMA.

Thank you @Honky Kong jr

Don't sweat it man, no pressure! I'm posting for the waiting audience as they watch eagerly with baited breath.
I have a viewership to consider. Luckily, you are part of it. <3

You could make a new lid for the console...and the seat MOUNTS are pretty useful/valuable - to guys like us!
