I've always wanted to try a twin screw supercharger on a street machine. Supposed to be more efficient and still give that brutal low end torque. I know turbos have allot going for them but I just can't get into them. One of the schemes in the back of my head is to build a jeep Cherokee or shortbed square with a twin screw boosted straight 6. Would be alot of fun to beat people using an old iron American I6.

Meh turbo or centrifugal that roots stuff eats to much imho. Turbo eats the least.
Except you don't have that instant kick in the ass, blowers make HP on the idle, only downfall on the roots is they loose efficiency at high rpm's, but the screw type has the same efficiency no matter what the rpm's.. :D

I can prove you totally wrong, but it will cost you... about $180,000. Mercedes Benz S65 twin turbo 6.0L V8. It only produces 720 lbs at 1800 RPMs. Ive almost wrecked my fair share... which is only 1 of them. hahaha. You cant stop 700+ lbs at 2000 rpms even with 8 piston front clipers on 15+" rotors.
