how do you remove vent window lock?

Can anyone tell me how to remove the vent window lock knob from the glass??

I'm thinking there's a small roll pin you need to knock out. I may be wrong though. It seems like I looked this up not long ago when I was thinking about changing mine. Can't recall for sure though.

I'm thinking there's a small roll pin you need to knock out. I may be wrong though. It seems like I looked this up not long ago when I was thinking about changing mine. Can't recall for sure though.
I thought mabe id take them out to tint the wing but couldnt figure it out

Yep, just went out to mine. Knock the roll pin out.

You must be registered for see images attach


Then wiggle the lever off. If there's any corrosion it may be sticky. There's a spring under the lever if you have the push botton lock on the vent. Be aware of it.

Now you should be able to see the torx screw holding the the 2 halves together. It's a T30

Unthread that, and you're done.

Yep, just went out to mine. Knock the roll pin out.

Oh nice! Thanks for the break down, i really appreciate it! The first window i cut around it but not all that well
