Hard to go in 4wd

Has anyone had any issues with their rig being really hard to shift into 4wd mines a th400 with A 205 transfer

Yep, the shifter fork was worn out in the transfer case. It eventually would not even engage anything but natural.[emoji31]

Have you checked the linkage adjustment?

A 205 doesn't have shifter adjustment. It's just the lever, a pivot/mounting bolt, and a little link rod doohickey.

Well I haven't been on here in a while but to bring this topic back to life an update 1 year later. The shifter linkage bar snapped in two but it had been shortened and welded by the previous owner. I been searching but kinda hard to find just the linkage rod.
