I have two questions about the grille and headlight molding on my 87 V10 Scottsdale.
1) Were all grilles made from plastic? or are there metal ones that would fit this year. Mine is plastic. If there are metal ones, any ideas where I could find one?

2) Is there a spray on chrome that is cheap but would make it look more like the stock grilles? I sprayed mine with a "chrome" spray paint but its more silver and has no shine to it. I'm looking for something that would shine like metal but would not cost me much.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Other than a square tube grille or phantom grille they're all plastic. Look up Alsa corporations kilker chrome kit. It's awesome.....paint whatever you're painting black then spray the chrome part, then it polishes up by hand...not completely chrome but waaaay closer than chrome paint.

Yeah my buddy uses this stuff with his custom paint jobs, colored chrome, and all other kinds of stuff. Last job I had him do was my Harley....turned out awesome using marbleizer effects.

Awesome. Thanks for the idea! looks like a good product. So much more than my grille I could use it for!
