Well I was singing its praises about 2000 miles ago on one of these threads, but the LS swap advertised griffin radiator finally crapped its pants. 4300 miles and done.

Don't do it. Everything was great about it during install... Pretty easy fitting the thing in and it cooled like a dream, but yesterday after some heat in traffic the thing started leaking from EVERYWHERE! Time for a C&R or... suggestions?

Yeah same deal with me. I gave them all kinds of **** to no avail. Thank God Summit is so good with their customer service. They didn't give me a new one since it was out of warranty, but they did give me half off. Hope this one works.

Is this a LS Swap radiator or Griffin radiators in general? If so, then we need to put this thread, either by moving it, or copying it to the cooling portion of the forum so noone buys one.

Good point. This is for my LS swap only - I do own another griffin radiator that works just fine in my tempest, so I'm hoping it's just this specific model.

Yeah man summit is awesome. They are going to replace it; I'm lucky enough to be under warranty. I just hope the next one holds up. As much as I value a good cooling system flush, it's not on my "every 5,000 miles" maintenance plan.

We'll just leave it alone then. So long as the LS guys know this model is a POS then we're good to go. Thanks for the heads up. :waytogo:

^^^^^ never a let down when this guy posts. Lmao
My Griffin has served me well. Big block Chevelle direct fit for a manual trans. Now it direct fit for a V10 big block.

Just a matter of packaging. All water connections are passenger side - that conversion rad is nice since you don't need to run hoses all over the place.

Join the dark side, and all this radiator b.s. will seem petty :)
