so it's time to put oil in my front and back rears. I'm gonna beat on this thing pretty hard. I have a 12 bolt back with a clutch type posi and a 10 bolt Eaton 30 spline clutch type posi in the front. I know they both need the additive but looking for a recommendation on weight. 80/90,85/90 or 85/140. @crazy4offroad you seem to be the gear guy and use your truck as this one is gonna be used.

80/90 is fine, I just look for what's on sale, or order it through Advance Auto and get a big discount using discount codes you can find online, and select store pickup. However that makes you start looking at what else you might need to pick up, and you end up with a $100 order of miscellaneous stuff.

I use 80/90 Royal Purple. Its not the cheapest, but it has outlasted other conventional brands. It drastically quiets down my differertial. I also only use Royal Purple on my Toyota crawler as well...gearbox, transfer case, and both diffs.
