Got a small leak somewhere around my gas tank. My question is, is it easier to drop the tank or just unbolt the bed and raise it up.

Thanks for any advice

I would say drop the tank get new hangers and a gas tank. But if you take the bed off you could always clean the frame up to. I got new hangers from lmc and the seem to be pretty good so far

Ive never taken off the bed to mess with gas tanks, even when I put in dual tanks. I just put a foot or so of fuel line on all the ports and thread it over the frame before I bolt the tank on

Thanks all. Think I will just pull the whole bed off and do a little cleaning and painting. Not a daily driver yet so I guess you have to start somewhere to do the resto on it
