Fuel Filter

looking for the location of the fuel filter on my 1979 c10 big 10 it has fuel tanks. Is it in the crab? I can’t find one in the line.

My 78 c10 big ten only has a filter in line right before the carb, its a big plastic one you cant miss. As for in the carb i dont know. I have an edelbrock 650 on mine not stock.

Another site mentioned the possibility of it being in the side of the carb where the metal line goes in.

I've had 7 carburated square bodies, big and small block. All were in the carb.

If it's a Quadrajet carburetor, it'll have it in the carb. If it's aftermarket, it'll be external.
