My 87 suburban with a th700r4 seems very "conservative" with shifts between third and fourth gear. I have 3.73 gears and am running 33s but even with the stock tires it seems to shift at the slightest incline when in most cars it would have carried a lower rpm for much longer. So I'm looking for opinions on these kits, do they work well, is it worth me doing a shift kit and or one of these for better overall shifts? Second question how hard of an install are these things, I'm mechanically inclined, have built motors and wrenched ever part in between EXCEPT ever opening an auto trans. Thanks for input up front!
