Hey everynody! Havent neen on hell i think since my intro way back when. But i wanted to get input on what i should do rearend wise. After years of my 1984 Chevy k30 sitting Im finally started working on it. Was thinking about duallying it. Can i just convert my 14ff or go with a Dana 70?

Iirc, there were different widths on the axle tubes for the dually axles. The d70 would probably be the cleanest route to take.

You can bolt duals right on your axle, but if you want to run a stock bed with dually fenders, you will need the D70. It has a wider housing.

The spring hangers wouldn't be needed, all the 1-ton rears use the same narrow spring spacing.

I read the post related to the picture and it is a cab/chassic rear end, but it would give him a close idea. My K30 has the 2000+ alloy wheels. You can see from the photo, I could fit a dually wheel with no issues.

That rig looks sweet. But I really want that wider ass end look. So the Dana 70 is what Im thinking is the route I need to take
