Difference between years/benches

quick question and I think I "know" the answer. What is the difference between the 73-80 and 81-87 benches. I know the seat belt trim where the buckle goes is different. Are the mounting brackets different?

what would you pay for an original bench in decent shape? (Pads look good, just not my interior color)

Basically everything is different between the two of them. Bench seats in decent shape are getting hard to find anymore, which is making the prices start to go up. 10 years ago, you couldn't give one away.

Well ****. I found one in good condition for $150. But it's for a 73-80 and blue.

I'm not sure the actual difference on the frames, but I do know the '81 and up have thinner seat backs which give you an inch or two more room between your body and the steering wheel.
