heres a good question.has any one ever modded there crossmember to accomidate there headers?and what did you do?or is there a source to buy one already fabercated 87 v20 4wd bbc w headers?

I had to notch the frame a little for #1 primary tube and I did clearance the cross member on the driver side but not for the header it was because the way I did my bends.

I had to notch the frame a little for #1 primary tube and I did clearance the cross member on the driver side but not for the header it was because the way I did my bends.
that's what mine looks like very very tight.im concerned about movement

My engine and trans are solid mounted but I have spring tensioned bolts on my ball collectors and have hangers that move a bit on the exhaust the whole frame flex thing. That way my headers won’t break

heres the latest and greatest.i bought the a body headers.the header on the passenger side perfect straight thru crossmember.driver side ,no good hits shift linkage.if I use the original one I had on the d side its all good .so now I have a set of mix matched headers that are extra wtf painful its becoming
