Compatibility question

Hey sorry to bug y’all but I just got a hold of a new project truck that seems interesting to find parts or even information on.

It’s a 91’ r3500 crew cab long box dually. Which makes it the classic body style and where things seem to get tricky.

Would the grill from earlier years work as most parts web sites have the 91 being the next body style? I’d love to do a phantom billet but the only one I can track down is for the 87.

Hopfully some one on here can point me in the direction of knowledge on the 87+ crew cabs it seems google doesn’t care about.

You could probably make the phantom grill work, but you would need to buy the grill surround trim for an '81-87. The only part I can't tell you is if your headlights and turn signal stick out further than the 81-87's.

Use 89-91 Blazer and Burb as a reference for grill parts.
