They all have the same setup at the tranny.

What about where the bar comes down from the column and meets the bar going across. Is there a screw that holds the bar coming down from the column? Will the universal linkage kit replace all of this?

I'm sure you can, but the junk yards are full of them, that is a common part on most GM's, I may even have a few laying around in the pile.

There is a wave washer under the head of the bolt. I'm guessing its to let the bolt wobble a little in the arm? Or should it be tight and the wave washer is to act like lock washer????

It's there to give the rod some free play for movement, but keep the connection from rattling.
