Eventually I will decide, but throwing this out if anybody cares to join the debate. I started to lean towards blue again for the 67. Just like the metallic blue and that is the only vehicle that is viable to do the color change. Purple was the factory color and only thing going for it is being factory, unusual for gm and my second favorite color for the 1st gens.

I like the blue but if the purple is a rare option paint it purple. It should make it worth more and will make it stand out in an already small crowd.

I voted blue, but say paint it whatever color you like. If it's not a Yenko or Z28, doesn't really matter anyway.

Nothing numbers matching on it but that royal plum is just a cool color for first gen and it originally was that color. But blue is nice as well and was my to go color for almost anything. Here is original paint behind the fender.

Yeah, I voted Royal Plum. Besides being the original color, it's a cool color that is also uncommon. I like blue, but it's everywhere.

I voted blue based on preference, but I would be heavily considering using the OEM purple. It definitely makes the car stand out even more.

The royal plum is also similar to the '92 Camaro color of Purple Haze. It was the anniversary year and I think the '67 color was the inspiration.

The car up at the top is more of a Barney purple.

The one above is not exact, but I was thinking of adding a bit if metallic to the original royal plum if going that route. Generally I prefer colors that still look apart when it is darker outside and not blend in to the black. Royal plum color also hard to find in person to even see how it works in different light.
