Is that on the bed? I don't know that this is a factory part. Or is it a Step Side bed???

You might help a little and give a description of where it's located on the truck.

Yes, the bolts that go through the wheeltub on my 76 K25, screw right into this piece. It's almost like a metal mud flap. This is behind the wheel on the driver side.

Yeah, unless earlier year models had that OEM, I'm almost certain that's an aftermarket add on peice. I don't recall any of my trucks having that. @bucket probably knows for sure.

My dually might have something like that, but I don't recall. I don't remember anything attaching there on my old shortbed.

Must be an earlier truck thing. Burbs have a similar panel on the right side, it's one of the first things to rust and fall off.

Earlier beds had them. I often wondered why they stopped. A sheet metal shop should be able to fab these for you.

Yep like said before the earlier beds had them. I’ve got a pickup box trailer with them on both sides of the rear
