Alright so I got these Bully side steps like a week after I bought my Chevy. Didn't even think about how we'd mount them. But I do really need them being only 5'2 and the truck having a 4" lift on 35's. Has anyone mounted any steps like them before and how did you do it? Pictures would be great! Thank you in advance!

Those are pretty nice. I've never seen them before.

I have the instructions, I should of added that. But I just don't think that area is strong enough to mount them and not rip. I've done so many internet searches thinking there's got to be someone out there who documented doing it. But can't find a damn thing
I guess I'll just have to seriously brainstorm

You'd be surprised. I've got a different type that I took off of a truck. They just used sheet metal screws through the pinch weld at the very bottom of the rocker. Surprisingly they held up and didn't rip out or even bend. Yours seem to grab alot more meat than these do. I think you should at least try it and see what you get. Might be surprised.

You know I think I will tomorrow! Thank you for the words of encouragement, I was honestly stressing over whether I wanted to chance it or not! But I'm just too short and don't like having to grab and put stress on the steering wheel to get in.

Here are some pics of the ones I'm referring to that just bolt through the pinch weld.

I was thinking the same about them getting ripped off in an off-road situation and tearing up your rocker panels, but you have a lot of wheel diameter and lift insulating you. It'd definitely make getting in it better. When I was little, I'd have to pull myself into my dad's Jimmy much the same so I know exactly how you feel.
