Brake hose replacement

Not sure if it was mentioned or not but I have a few tips.
1. Penetrating oil is your friend. If I have time I soak them at least once a day for three days or so before I even attempt it.
2. Once the line nut cracks loose wiggle it back and fourth like a million times or until it turns on the line. Add more penetrating oil along the way. If your arm falls off pick it up, reattach it, suck it up and carry on.
3. I don't try too long without success befor I apply heat. I have a very small tip for my torch so I can heat just the line nut. CAUTION! If you get the hose end too hot the hose blows out of the crimp. NOT FUN!

Read this post yesterday while struggling with the front lines on my 84 C10. Very helpful...., instead of PB blaster I used 1/2 trans fluid and 1/2 acetone (nail polish remover) as penetrating fluid. Thanks everyone for this information!
