I am looking for the bolts that attach the fiberglass top to the of a Jimmy/Blazer. I think that they are chrome. Does anyone know the size and or where I can purchase them? Also the quantity. TIA

Mine are in my tool box at home. I'll check the size tonight. Once you know the size, you can probably get them from the McMaster-Carr site.

Thank you 74Blaze.
Sorry I didn't post the year but, I have an 89 Jimmy I hope that doesn't change things besides the quantity.

The Bolts should be the same as my 1985.

Bolts are 5/16" X 18 Thread

You will have six (6) long bolts with washer head for Header - 2-1/2 " X 5/16-18
(Edit 09-18-23 to 2-1/2" from 2-1/5")

You will have ten (10) short bolts for base to body - 1" X 5/16-18

I purchased some extra ones to have on hand.

My recommendation if you want factory is to contact:
Cory Buhrman - Owner,
New Boyz Square Body Rescue
717-830-9330

He has gotten me several things that i needed for my full restoration. I know he has helped a friend of mine in Dallas, TX with some of his unusual requests as well.

I did buy some temporary bolts for the top to transport it to the Paint and Body shop while I sent my original bolts to a re-chrome d in Houston, TX.

Our Local M&D hardware store had the Hex Bolts with washers.

Sorry, forgot to reply. Yes, my '74 also uses 5/19-18 UNC threaded bolts. But with the full convertible, all are the shorter version.
