There were THREE ashtrays in my Blazer? I have holes in the backseat armrests that fit the ashtray of the console and need filled. Lol? Maybe a P.O. did that?

Regardless, if that's factory, I took some pics of the one I have. Side, bottom, and ooen from top.

Any info?

I think Suburbans had them as well. There's a K5 in our local yard, but not sure if they are still there.

I've looked in other salvage K5s and seen them (in later years) mounted in the trim on the bed sides..a hole there would be a lot cooler than in the armrest!

Makes sense to be in a burb. Seems like ive seen one in something else too but I cant remember what... Maybe a conversion van.

Yep, it used to be real common cars even had ashtrays in the back seats. Either in the arm rest or they pulled out of the side panels, or some old cars had a big wide fold out ashtray in the rear center of the front seat for the back seat passengers to use. Really, Smoking used to be cool.

Hell, I think as a baby my car safety seat had an ashtray in the fold down hand rest.
