"I LOVE MY HOOKERS" Can't imagine ever wanting to quiet down that low, menacing growl that becomes a beastly Roar with the twinkle of my toes! Just a good reason to crank the tunes up and finish going deaf! LOL But good luck to you on this endeavor!

I really like the Hooker Aerochambers too. Had them on a small block with small pipes and a big block with big pipes, I simply love them.

Dyno mat the interior. I have dual series 40 flowmasters, both mufflers mounted under bed, both pipes exit out sides in front of tires....its certainly not loud unless on the pedal.

I guarantee you the exhaust is louder. Lol

To me, with all of the crappy seasonal drivers here who don't know to check before lane changes, a loud exhaust is my "hey *******...there is a car pulling up beside you in you're blindspot" warning.

That and for them to roll up their windows at traffic lights so I don’t have to hear their ghetto rap ****.

I use a silent muffler for relaxed cruising and a cutout to deafen the others at the traffic light or in a tunnel :)

i have dyno max vts for that on the vette, quiet while cruising little to no drone and above 3k the exhaust flow over powers the the spring loaded flap and its straight pipe then.
