I am installing a pair of vintage air heating cores and wonder what coolant pressure testing kits you folks use that work for the square bodies.

Do not borrow the snap on kit from your buddy! I did and the f ing thing broke when I used it. Had to buy him a new one. That was one of the last tools I ever borrowed. lol I would buy the harbor fright and getter done.

Go down to your local Autozone or Oreilly and rent their kit for free... Why buy something you are only ever going to use once or twice

I use the Stant kit. Been packing it around in my service truck for at least 25 years. Probably gets used 20-30 times a year. Even the case has stood up. They are a solid kit.

i bought one from harbor frieght. just used it on my new to me 84 ,thought i had a blown head gasket but turned out fine......
