You could take a piece of tow strap and take it to an upholstery shop and have them sew it up for ya, just a thought.

A wrecker not too far from my house has 2 burbs and I know one is a barn door version. Doesn't have the doors though. May still have the straps and he may be willing to mail em to you.

Unless what craig 85 posted is still available I think this is gonna be a custom job or finding a part out.

I'm thinkin you can fab something up using a section of old seatbelt, a sewing machine and a couple of pieces of steel rod.

There's a barn door burb at the pick a part I go to, not sure if the straps are there, but I can check if you want.

Need to go back there soon, I saw an aluminum torque converter cover for a TH400 the last time I was there, figure I should grab it.

That was my first thought too, use an old seatbelt and stitch it up.

Tow strap is thicker, sew it up right and it would look pretty close to original, I would think.

I can see that. But my initial thought of a tow strap is thick and wide, not the smaller ones.

But on the other hand, seatbelts are still overkill strong just to hold a barn door, and they are easier to find in black.
