anybody have this happen?

So i put this engine and tranny in here in august of this year no problems till now. So oddly the vaccum line keeps popping off of the modulator and im not sure why all of a sudden and now. Pop it on and about a mile and its off, this ever happen to anyone else?? (I have it zip tied on atm)

Is there atf saturating the hose and swelling it?

Can't see how it would pop off it has vacuum all the time unless you hammer the throttle??, maybe it's a fit issue with the steel line??, I'd fire it up and go under and see what's going on???.

The vaccum comes from the intake right?

Yep, if it's factory there's a steel tube with a short stubby hose to a fitting on the intake behind the carb, it goes down to the modulator, usually it's clipped on the dipstick tube.

Yup thats why im asking because if its sucking vaccum from the modulator twords the intake, that where its popping off at. Can there be too much vaccum that its suckin the rubber hose part off?

No, it would have to be the other way around to blow the hose off, vacuum is sucking from the intake not the modulator, if anything it'll pull the hose in.
