How much of a lift do I have to do to fit 37s on the back of my dually. I am only talking the back here. I know I need 6 inches on the front but I want to run low pro 22.5s and still be able to pull our gooseneck trailer. I am thinking 4 inches.

Are you gonna run single rear wheels or duals?

I think your biggest issue will be the width of the wheels for the rear fenders.

My guess is you'd probably need around a 6" lift for 37's on the street and probably still need trimming as well.

Do you mean them sticking out too wide? I like the look of them sticking out a little

I meant more so the overall wheel well opening considering how the fenders tuck back in which would be your first point of contact with the tires.

Assuming you mean 255/70R22.5 tires, those are tall, but pretty narrow. Wouldn't really stick out all that much.

You may be able to get away with a 4" lift, but I'd be guessing closer to 6".

Well I may just have to try it and see what works.

Yep. I say go for it. If it ends up needing a little bit more, no big deal. Just give her a little more height.

when sizing the tires, don't forget to leave enough space so the duals don't rub together. Doesn't make for very good tire life.

How or what type of lift do you plan on doing? I sure wouldn't plan on using 4 inch blocks or a shackle flip if I'm going to be pulling a 5th wheel or goose neck trailer. I'd suggest spring lift or nothing.

This is very important. You need expensive spacers between the rims. I say expensive because there are cheap imported spacers and the studs break.

Maybe this vid will be helpful...

I was planning on 3/4 ton lift springs with airbags
