I later on searched for an blue 85 toyota solid axle and got a auto with ps, pb, ac, 22r efi and factory solid axle I put a lot of lcengineering speed parts on, did maintenance, but after like $2000 into smog parts two years later when inspections came around, it didnt pass, so I had to sell it for cheap...

So I had a issue there where while I was working on tercel with more oil leak issues, and tracker had steering issues, and then my DD prius had hit a screw, but I thought it was cv axle by the sound of it amd started thinking about double cab 4x4 2000-2004 era, but couldnt afford the prices...im talking $10k-12k for 280k miles which was out my range, and $17k for 115k miles versions... So I started looking at xtended cab and standard cab tacomas, and 4x4 were slim pickings but after looking from Sacramento to the bay area found a nearby one...I have been on offer up lately vs I used to only use criagslist....

So it was on the lot for a couple weeks, and they let their "detailer" on her.... If you notice, they waxed her real good, they put roll in nedliner to? Cover up the scratches in the bed, and touch ups...

The test drive was great after the grey yracker, because it was like mini death wobble on freeway from tires, so when this toyota with 31" mts ran smooth, I was all for it....

I let her sit a few days as I switched out insurance... I wanted to trade in tracker but they wouldnt do it... Sold my girlfriend s tercel $600, got $300 for rims....so she could drive bigger prius, and I could drive truck...also sold tracker $1600.... The neighbor who got the tercel flipped it for $950 + 96 era clean cadillac deville that overheats... I was happy for him... Hes still driving the tracker amd saying a guy wants to trade for 4.8 Silverado...

I ran vin in Toyota owners website...

So I went out to do a quick visual while snapping some pics knowing my girlfriend has a hard time me getting a truck for that price with any kind of issue, but I see the diamond in the rough....

SoI I saw a leak that seems to be coming from oil filter mount that bolts to block with two o ring rubber gaskets...drip down engine, back up trans, and downwind to muffler fromt and axle sides.... Gone way to long... Probly why owner sold it....

. I tell the service writer, about o rings leaking from block, and he tells me he has never seen it happen in 15 years vs listening. I also complain of e brake being loose and light was on as it would not be engaged but last 1/2" had play so light stays on....drop it off Fri 0715...
