86 k30 dump sending unit

HI EVERYONE..
Has anyone replaced a sending unit on a dump truck without dropping tank? Not that i cant just always
looking for least amount of work..
Its a k30 dump one tank

It’s been a while since I’ve seen one of these so I can’t say with 100% certainty, but if raising the bed doesn’t give you any access to them or at least a way to access them once it’s up, you’ll have to drop them. On a regular pickup, the alternative to dropping is pulling the bed, which exposes the back portion of the tanks and the senders.
