I have a 74 c10 long bed, trim level is a custom. Yes just custom,
Not custom deluxe. Now the folks at lmc truck, brothers and other fine establishments have seen it in their infinite wisdom to skip the 73 -74 models years for fender emblems. Mine are their but they look terrible. Does anyone know of a source for a replacement or maybe some tips on how to restore mine.
Much appreciated.

Are they pitted badly? If not, you could have them rechromed and then you could hand paint the highlights.

The best match will be "New Cat (as in Caterpillar) Yellow" from a spray can. It can be found at various farm stores from different brands.

Be careful about having them re-chromed unless it's a high end restoration company. Back in the early 90's I had a a tailgate emblem for my El Camino replated and it ruined it. I lost all of the textured detail and had to find a replacement as they weren't reproducing that stuff back then.
