6.5 TD in a 1/2 ton?

yes I know it's not a turbo diesel. it won't let me edit the title. I'm looking for a Chevrolet 6.5 or 6.2 diesel truck thats running for a future project. I just want it drivable until I'm ready to turn it into a parts truck. there are a few blazers with diesels too.

did they change the tuning or anything to the 6.5 to put them in a 1/2 ton of this era?

I'd imagine they had to adjust tq output for the 5 lug rear axle but what do I know...

If they did they probably put the mini 14 bolt in it.

Also they made light duty 2500 trucks with 6 lug semi-float 14 bolts (9.5").

It was only for a year or two. The turbo setup was optional on the 6.5 at first. Around '93.

Edit... And '94 of course, like the one in the ad posted. I'm dumb, lol.

yeah, I'm noticing the 6 lug 14bolt more and more now that it was mentioned.
