I'm looking to make my 2wd crew cab a 4wd cab. so I'm looking for a high hump trans tunnel for 4x4, and a piece of donor cab that I can splice in my cab to make it 4x4.

Let me know what you have, thanks.


edit- bought the bolt in high hump 4x4 tunnel. still need the cab section

Do a small body lift it's much easier.

I need the length from the 4x4 tunnel. I'm swapping in a duramax and allison with transfer case. I'm looking at a 2" bodylift or more without the tunnel- and that's way too much.

All I know is in my V10 with a 2" body lift I could lay o top of the trans lol. I have an Allison to Chevy v8 adapter lol. I see what your getting at tho in your case the hump would be best. Gonna be a badass rig when done with that Durtymax in there.

Check with this ebay seller, rayandsamantha. I have requested parts from them before. It was not in their listings, but they had the part. They cut it off a truck they had and posted it for me to buy.

they are out of 4x4 donors and mentioned they are getting very hard to find.

If you have a salvage yard close by you can get a tunnel from a 73-81? square 4x4 or a 3/4 ton 2x4 with a manual tranny. They are bolted in.

2wd is different from 4wd.

It seems as if none of the salvage yards around here have any inventory this old. Probably because of hurricane katrina and similar.

The manual trans 2wd used the same big tunnel floor as the 4wd.

I thought so too until someone sent me pics of the differences. The 4x4 doesn't slope down near vertical, but rather much more gradual as it passes over the seat hump.
